Join us for a two-hour panel, and the last volunteer opportunity before summer break!
At the end of each school year, students who attend our youth-designed Alternatives in Action High School present their accomplishments towards their academic and personal goals for the year.
We are looking for motivated community volunteers to serve as panel judges for the presentations. By serving as a panel judge, you will provide Oakland youth with priceless advice as they continue their education and prepare for college, career, and community success.
This event runs all day on June 7th from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, however, the day is divided into two-hour presentation blocks. We are looking for volunteers to donate two hours of their time to participate as panel judges and share their wisdom with Oakland youth. The two-hour period includes an orientation on the panel process before youth presentations begin.
