TO EARN COMMUNITY SERVICE HOURS, OR ELECTIVE CREDITS:
HOME participants must complete entire course to earn community
service hours.
For Elective or P.E. Credits, students must complete entire
course and fulfill 60 hours of on-site work (this might mean
attending extra events in order to reach 60 hours).
Students may choose between earning community service hours
for their participation or receiving elective credit. Once
they decide between community service hours or credit, however,
they will have until the fifth week of the program to change
their decision. After the fifth week, if students who had
signed up for credit want to change or drop out of program,
they will receive an “incomplete” on their HOME/BASE
transcript.
