BASE
The Bay Area School of Enterprise was created in 2001 by a team of youth and adults who wanted to reach students who were unsuccessful or unchallenged in traditional schools. The first youth-initiated charter high school in the country, BASE provides an environment in which youth take ownership of their own learning and change their own lives as they change the community around them...more


HOME Sweet HOME
In a space that was once a dark, industrial kitchen, the HOME Sweet HOME (HSH) Preschool now stands as a bright, beautiful testament to the powerful contribution youth can make to the lives of small children. Steppin' Stone
Steppin' Stone is a unique program that gives youth ages 16 to 19 the skills, support and opportunities to transition successfully from high school to college and life! Youth ages 16 to 19 benefit from taking classes through the Bay Area School of Enterprise and the Peralta Colleges to complete high school graduation requirements and get a jump start on college and/or career... more
