HOME Sweet HOME, a quality preschool for children ages 2-5

We provide...

  • Support to working parents by providing an excellent preschool setting with convenient hours, Monday – Friday 7:30 am – 6:00 pm.

We build a network of parents, forming a supportive community where parents can call on one another for help, communicate at meetings and events, and receive parent education.

  • Excellent, highly trained staff (combined with over 30 years experience) who are paid well with benefits better than most preschools, ensuring little turnover.

  • Our staff to child ratio is 2-3 staff : 12 children. One of the best physical environments in the East Bay, which includes a school garden where children engage in hands-on projects.

  • Innovative curriculum based on the Reggio Emilia Approach, which is being used by some of the most distinguished early childhood education programs, such as Mills College.

  • A commitment to economic diversity by providing service 3, 4, or 5 days per week, and by offering scholarships for eligible parents.

We need your support to identify families who may be good matches for our program, and by supporting us in raising additional money for scholarships. Contact Kandra Rivers for more information at (510) 748-4314 ext. 303.

If you are a family interested in enrolling your child into HOME Sweet HOME, limited spaces are available for Fall 2008. If you would like to be on our 2008 waiting list, please download the HOME Sweet HOME Application and return it to:
